Venturing Leader Specific Training will be offered this coming Saturday, April 18th at Eagle Lodge at John Nichols Scout Ranch. The training will start at 10am and will end at approx 3pm. There is no cost and lunch will be provided. There is no preregistration as walk-ins are welcome.
This course will combine material for both Venturing Advisor Position -Specific Training and Crew Committee Position-Specific Training into one larger training session. Since portions of the course for each of the two sessions are exactly word-for-word, the two courses have been combined to allow all attendees to receive credit for both courses.

The Baden-Powell District is now accepting nominations for the 2015 District Awards. Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and the winners will be announced at the District Awards and Ice Cream Social on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Nominations for any award may be made by anyone. The selection does not have to come from the unit leader and/or unit committee. If you know a deserving candidate please feel free to nominate them.
