BADEN-POWELL DISTRICT EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT OF THE YEAR
The Baden-Powell District is proud to announce that we will be awarding the Baden-Powell District Eagle Scout Project of the Year to one deserving Eagle Scout. The award recipient will receive a $500 educational scholarship, which has been made possible by the generosity of our District’s own Phil and Alice Pippin. Read more about the scholarship at http://www.lastfrontiercouncil.org/newsfeed/new-eagle-scholarships-offered/11414.
You may apply for the scholarship if you satisfy these requirements:
- You have completed your final Eagle Scout Board of Review and received your approved paperwork from the BSA National Office;
- Your final Eagle Scout Board of Review occurred between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014; and
- You submit the completed scholarship application to the District on or before September 27, 2014.
The award recipient will be selected by a committee, based on the same criteria used by the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) to award the Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project Award. The award recipient will also be considered by the Last Frontier Council’s NESA Committee for the Council’s Eagle Scout Project of the Year, which awards one additional $1,000 scholarship.
